This page attempts to retrieve public story media through our server without asking you to sign into TikTok. It doesn't associate a story request with your TikTok username. TikTok's technical logging and story metrics remain outside our control.
Can I view stories from private TikTok accounts?
No. Private stories require access granted by the account owner. This viewer does not bypass privacy restrictions or reveal private content.
Why does the viewer sometimes show an error?
TikTok's website may require browser verification, a session or signed requests before returning story information. The endpoint is not an official public API, so a PHP-only lookup may be blocked even when the profile exists.
Do I need to install anything or log in?
No. Visitors can use the search page in a normal browser. The website owner only needs PHP hosting with outbound HTTPS access.
How long do TikTok Stories last?
TikTok Stories normally remain available for 24 hours. Once they expire or are removed, they are not retrievable through a normal public-story lookup.
Does opening a story on TikTok reveal that I watched it?
Potentially, yes. TikTok says story creators can see which accounts watched. If you follow a link into TikTok and watch while signed in, your account may appear in the creator's story views.
